Sea Aster is one of the most flavoursome of wild foods - real gourmet foraged foods. It holds its texture very well and has an unusual but highly moreish taste.
Try melting butter in a frying pan adding crushed garlic and fry for 30 seconds. Stir in sliced or whole Sea Aster leaves and fry until wilted and glazed. Add kefir or yoghurt and stir for 20 seconds. Serve immediately.
